Trophies and medals for Champions League and Europa League

The European Handball Federation (EHF) selected us from among 27 agencies from 12 European countries to design and manufacture the new trophies for the Champions League Final 4. According to EHF, these trophies are meant to change the history of this sport.

For the first time, a top-level sport will award the same trophy to the winners of the women's and men's championships. The design avoids any preconceptions about masculinity or femininity and presents two trophies that have no formal differences between them.

The concept of the GOAL as the primary objective of the game and the SHIELD as a representation of the essence of team sports served as the starting point for the design of the new trophy. A net made of 80% recycled aluminum, capturing the impact of the ball at high speed, forms a paraboloid that serves as a housing for the regulation-sized ball.

Handball is a tough sport, as evidenced by the wear and tear on the ball, which becomes unusable after each match. This intensity is reflected in the new trophy, as the sculpture of the ball is made from the recycling of used handballs used during the competition.
